Create a Metamask Wallet

After installing the metamask extension, a new tab will appear for you to create a wallet.

  • Click on the "Start Now" button.

  • If you don't have a wallet, click on the "Create Wallet" button.

  • If you already have a Metamask wallet, just click on the "Import Wallet" section and fill in the private key (a string), you will immediately access your own wallet.

  • Create a password and accept the terms.

  • Write the 12 words on a paper and keep a safe backup. After that, click on the "Next" button.

Be aware that this 12 words are the ONLY method to recover your wallet, be extra carefull.

  • Select each word in the correct order and click the "Confirm" button.

  • Congratulations, you have a Metamask wallet.
